Reservoir Engineering, Frac Diagnostics, and Completion Technology
Subsurface Dynamics is an independent reservoir engineering and technology firm specializing in real-time frac monitoring, automated diagnostics, and integrated reservoir and fracture modeling.
Our mission is to combine advanced, physics-based subsurface understanding with modern automation, helping operators make faster, data-informed decisions that improve completion performance.
Integrated Subsurface Expertise and Completion Technology
Since 2014, we have delivered complex reservoir characterization, geomechanics, fracture modeling, and simulation studies across conventional and unconventional plays. This foundation in physics-based engineering now underpins our real-time diagnostic workflows and automated technology platforms.
Our multidisciplinary team brings deep industry experience across reservoir engineering, petrophysics, geomechanics, hydraulic fracturing, completions, data integration, and software development. By bringing these disciplines together, we transform geological, geophysical, completion, and production data into practical, decision-ready insights.
Three Core Pillars
Our expertise is organized around the capabilities operators need to improve completion performance and field development outcomes.
Integrated reservoir and fracture modeling
Translating subsurface complexity into actionable completion and development strategies.
Real-time analytics and
automation
Transforming live frac and production data into automated diagnostics and optimization insights.
Technology development and integration
Delivering intelligent, scalable platforms that improve operational efficiency and consistency.
Supporting Operators Across North America and Internationally
Subsurface Dynamics supports operators across major producing basins throughout North America and select international basins. Our technology and engineering workflows support live completion operations, post-job analysis, and longer-term field-development decisions.
Whether monitoring a live completion, analyzing historical field data, or delivering an integrated subsurface study, we apply the same physics-based rigor and focus on practical, decision-ready recommendations.
