This innovative paper, created in collaboration with Chris Clarkson from the University of Calgary, introduces a cutting-edge hybrid workflow designed to optimize field development in unconventional reservoirs.
By integrating early-time fracture data with long-term production data, this workflow addresses previous limitations and enhances asset development efficiency. We’ll also explore how integrating flowback analysis (FBA) with multidisciplinary methods can dramatically improve the performance of hydraulic fracturing operations.
The hybrid workflow utilizes new correlations and asset maps to better predict completion design and performance, offering valuable insights into effective stress, fracture area, permeability, and more. This approach has the potential to transform the way operators manage and optimize field development strategies.
