We are thrilled to announce Subsurface Dynamics’s contribution to a project funding by Goldman Sachs Asset Management in collaboration with Wood and Ikon Science that resulted in a 250MM investment. Our team keeps standing at the forefront of energy transition to a greener future. As part of the project, Wood leveraged Subsurface Dynamics’s technical due-diligence services to provide technical evaluation, data review, and validation for a multi-location A-CAES (Advanced Compressed Air Energy Storage) project involving Hydrostror, a firm using compressed air in underground caverns to store excess electricity generated by wind farms. Subsurface Dynamics contributed to a high-level technical evaluation of pilot storage caverns in a study coordinated by Wood. Our team evaluated Hydrostor’s documentation, studies, and reports to prepare a reliable risk assessment summary.
