In this presentation, a new workflow for hydraulic fracture diagnostics, optimization, well performance prediction and field development planning will be demonstrated through a widespread application throughout the unconventional Montney. The new workflow is based around the application of Flowback Analysis (FBA). FBA is low-cost method that consists of analyzing post-frac flow test data to diagnose completions and estimate key fracture and SRV/matrix properties using less than two weeks of flowing data.
